Empowering Every Student Through Community Support and Opportunity

The Seattle Public Schools Foundation is a community-driven initiative dedicated to ensuring that every Seattle Public Schools student has access to an exceptional public education, essential extracurricular programs, and well-equipped classrooms that foster learning and student wellness. This 501 (c)3 initiative will bring together school families, alumni, educators and community partners to raise money for programs and school needs that will assist those furthest from educational equity.

Our first initiative, Team Seattle, will focus on gathering financial support and community awareness for Middle and High School Athletics. 

The Seattle Public Schools Foundation will work to:

• Ensure that 100 percent of proceeds raised are given directly to schools for needs fulfillment. While the campaigns will be prioritized by the District, schools will get to decide how the funds are spent, using guidelines created by the District
• encourage any donor wishing to donate to a specific school to do so, with those funds going to supports identified as in “need” at that school
• disburse funds raised to the schools within 30 days of donation
• mail an acknowledgement letter within 10 days of donation
